Music Tuesday #147: Use your tentacles

Watch out for this band.  Finally a new sound which made me stop doing whatever I was doing and listen.  This is interesting stuff.  I hear punk, post-punk flavored with sounds that remind me of Beck (Loser), a bass line that makes me long to put a Morphine record on and Cake (Race Car Ya-Yas) because of the the trumpets and the repetitive "speeding along" throwback to their "Fashion Nugget" heydays.  Some say you can hear the influence of Talking Heads in this song, I don't really.

I expect you will pretty soon have ample opportunity to see them at your favorite rock festival.
