This song almost didn't make the cut.  Is it run of the mill 80s heavy rock?  Yes.  Is it unique in any way?  Probably not. Initially is sounds like a run-of-the-mill rock radio song put on high rotation. So why then? Because it is just so bloody well done.  It put a smile on my face.
