I don´t know if this is teenage angst, Weltschmerz or just a someone spending way too much time in a dark home studio.  The output throws me back to the 80s and its darkest, most threatening pop sounds.  Chaos reigns in the background of this song, the base and guitar urge you to run away.  There is this vague unformtableness which I like in music: I don't need happy songs, give me something I can chew on and put on repeat. The  90´s are back.  I lived through them and the current generation of kids discover the music of that period like I discovered the 70's just before grunge took over my world. Every generation needs heroes, musically this also means that you need to discover what came before.  When I first heard this song I was about to skip it after 10 seconds.  That voice, what a warm fuzzed-out sound mixed so far in front of that wall of sound. Underneath drums catch your attention, expressing the urgency, the need, to punch the rest of the instruments forward into a bright future. You may think that this song starts in a kind of generic way, a typical power rock song.  Keep listening and you will find a couple of hooks that won my rock heart over.  As is common these days we get the full power delivered in under 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
