Music Tuesday #134: Just a small misunderstanding

This week's song was triggered by listening to Regina Spektor's 2012 album "What We Saw from the Cheap Seats".  The song O Marcello takes two lines from the song I give you today.   Originally recorded by Nina Simone and probably best known in the more uptempo version of the The Animals in 1965.

There is a disco version from 1984 which I can't remember but which came up when researching the backstory for today.  This a perfect song to start you Tuesday.  Pop it into Spotify and let the algorithm serve you a very nice morning playlist.
