Music Tuesday #061: Under cover episode 2 - Too much hot sauce?
You most likely know the song Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash. Or so I thought. So you start reading into what Wikipedia has to say. Then you end up reading an article in Rolling Stone (https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-country/flashback-johnny-cash-releases-ring-of-fire-204815/).
So the song seems to be co-written by June Carter, who would later on become Johnny's wife. She sang with her sisters, hence sister Anita recording the song "Love's the ring of fire". The title supposedly being an underlined passage of a poem by her uncle. Anita didn't get successful with the song, but what a voice she has!
