Music Tuesday #051: Interesting Interpretations
Can covers be better than the original? I'm not sure, but here are some that come to mind.
First on, An Pierle's cover of the 1979 song 'Are Friends Electric?' by Gary Numan (Tubeway Army). A song about a robot performing services for men. This was a long time before Westworld!
This is lesson for all modern music: sparse sound can be more powerful then a wall of noise. Especially with a unique voice like An Pierle has.

Second, Primus covers 'Making plans for Nigel' by XTC of which I have always found the original to be very annoying. Primus makes it way better. But hey, that's mu inner Primus fan speaking off course.
