Music Tuesday #046: Bert and... John

A couple of months ago I noticed some background music which I managed to Shazam before it was gone.  The acoustic guitar sound reminded me of something that eluded me at the time.  I couldn't immediately tell whether it was new music or something of bygone days.  Turns out that the music was from a hitherto unknown duo Bert and John, released in the mid 60s.   It is beautiful, finger picking style acoustic guitar which I enjoy very much.  Since then I haven't listened much as I feel it works best on a rainy day when you have time to fully experience the album with a strong cuppa. In a pinch a good whiskey would be a nice pairing as well.
